EZ Rock is raising money for pediatric equipment at Queen Victoria Hospital’s maternity ward. This year they are wanting to help purchase a NeoBLUE LED phototherapy unit to help newborns with jaundice. The new technology allows treatment of jaundice with LED light technology – reduced risk of skin damage and exposes the newborn to less heat thus reducing risk of fluid loss and dehydration. The new light unit will cost $7400. In addition they would like to purchase a jaundice meter ($9700) and a radiometer ($3500). These accessories would complement the NeoBLUE LED light unit to provide the maternity ward of Queen Victoria Hospital with the most effective and safest jaundice light therapy system on the market today. Please support the Radiothon with your donation. See more info on the NEoBLUE light here: 051942E_neoBLUE_overhead_EN_US
