Thanks to our community, we were able to hit our $250,000 fundraising goal in less than 3 days! You continue to show how we care for one another.
The purchase of the echocardiogram ultrasound will have instant impact to our community. Hiring an additional ultrasound technician will shorten wait times for general ultrasounds and thus provide more rapid diagnosis and treatment. Being able to do echocardiogram scans locally means 400-500 people a year will not have to drive to a hospital out of town.
A full list of donors can be found below. In addition, there will be a permanent donor recognition display in the imaging department at Queen Victoria Hospital.
This campaign also had dozens of volunteers, donations of materials/services, discounts from all the media, donations in kind from many businesses – we could not have done it without all of you.
